Supervises all accounting and registering of accounts. For this purpose, ensures the proper keeping of the books for internal accounting and for the official account sheets to be supplied in due course.
Is responsible for establishing hotel budget forecasts (investment budget and operating budgets) and keeps a record of monthly budgetary discrepancies.
Supervises the hotel’s cash situation.
Keeps informed of tax matters concerning the hotel operation and the hotel property.
Maintains management charts and administration forecast charts, in conjunction with the senior management.
Supervises revenue entries, especially those from the general cashier’s office.
In conjunction with the purchasing manager, is responsible for the payment of invoices.
Maintains controls on the costs of the different services, in particular the food and beverage cost.
With the assistance of Human Resources Manager:
Is responsible for employee wages and all social costs pertaining thereto.
Supervises the proper maintenance of the personnel registers.
Ascertains that the hotel’s administrative procedure are in conformity with country laws in all matter concerning: hiring letters, work contracts, dismissals, sanctions, paid vacations, sick leave, social advantages, compensations, bonuses and incentive, advances and over-time work. Concerning over-time work, in particular, ascertains that it does not exceed the limits set by the General Manager.
Ensure all rapports systems are met according to hotel policies and procedures.
Assisting purchasing department to make good price deal with suppliers, for the needs of hotel operation.
Must have accounting hotel background
Must be familiar with Hotel computer system, Payroll system, Excel and Microsoft Word.
Male, age 23 - 35 years old.
Min. D3/ Bachelor degree in Accounting.
Min. 2 years experience as Cost Controller at Hotel, Restaurant or Hospitality industry.
Strong communication, Interpersonal and Analytical skills is a must.
Fluency in English oral and written.
Microsoft skills especially in Word, Excel.
Hard worker and able to work under pressure
Having knowledge in VHP system
